Here we have a group of hyenas busy cleaning up the very last remains of a buffalo. 🐾

Nature can be raw, powerful and sometimes difficult to watch — but every part of it has a purpose. Hyenas play an incredibly important role in the ecosystem, helping to clean up carcasses and return nutrients to the bush.

What may look like the end of one story is already the beginning of another.

That’s the circle of life in the African bush — wild, unforgiving and absolutely fascinating. 🌍🦴

A beautiful little interaction between these two male lions. What a privilege to witness such a special moment in the wild!

What a magnificent way to start the morning in the Kruger National Park.

We had the privilege of following this impressive male lion as he walked calmly along the road in front of our vehicle. After a while, he went and lied down 15 meters from the road in the tall grass, lifted his head and turned towards the rising sun.

Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of the privilege of experiencing wildlife in its natural environment.

At Indlozi Tours & Safaris, we believe that being a safari guide is about much more than finding animals.

It is about respecting them. 🐘🦁🐆

We enter the bush as visitors in their home. Our job is to observe, learn and share these incredible moments with our guests — without changing the behaviour of the animals we came to see.

For us, ethical guiding means:

🚙 Respecting road rules, distances and the space animals need.

Because at the end of the day, we don't want to simply show our guests wildlife.

We want to show them wildlife behaving naturally.

That is the experience we believe in.

We are constantly learning, improving and holding ourselves to a higher standard because protecting the places and animals we love is not just part of our business.

Today = EPIC!! ❤️

Today I had one of those unforgettable Kruger moments — I saw a cheetah cub in a tree… and then watched it jump down! 🌳

What does it do to me? Makes my heart go GAGA!! 😂

These are the moments that remind me just how incredibly privileged we are to spend our days in the bush. You never know what’s waiting around the next corner!

A Rare Encounter

Marinus, our guide, had an incredibly special sighting — a beautiful Rock Python in the wild!

What a privilege it is to witness these magnificent reptiles in their natural environment, and even more special to be able to share such a rare encounter with our guests.

Moments like these are what make every safari unforgettable.

What a magnificent sight! A powerful male lion casually walking right past us. Seeing these incredible animals up close and witnessing the raw muscle, strength, and sheer power they possess is truly breathtaking. Nature at its absolute best!
