Hidden beneath a canopy of trees on Arroyo Street in Buenos Aires stands a place many visitors walk past without knowing its significance: the memorial to the victims of the 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy.

On March 17, 1992, a car bomb attack destroyed the embassy building, killing 29 people and injuring hundreds more. Today, this quiet, shaded plaza honors their memory — a place of reflection along a street that once held so much pain.

When we walk this path with our guests, it's a moment to pause and remember not just what was lost, but the strength of the Jewish community in Argentina that continues to thrive today.

Step back in time with us. 🕰️

These iron bunks once filled the dormitories of the Hotel de Inmigrantes in Buenos Aires — the building where thousands of newcomers to Argentina spent their very first nights in a new country. For up to five days, they could stay here completely free of charge while they searched for work and a permanent home.

Today, the building is home to the Museo de la Inmigración, preserving the stories of the millions of immigrants who passed through these halls on their way to building new lives across Argentina.
