Some really important changes to entry requirements for the UK. Please contact me urgently if we have booked you a holiay and this will affect you or if you are unsure.

If you’re an Australian-British or Australian-Irish dual national, from 25 February 2026, there are changes to the passport and visa rules that apply to you when travelling to the UK.

If you’re a dual national, you must either:
• use your British or Irish passport to enter the UK. If your passport isn’t current or you don’t have one, you will need to renew or apply for one prior to travel; OR
• get a certificate of entitlement from GOV.UK, if you want to use your Australian (or another foreign country) passport and do not currently hold a British or Irish passport.

Dual nationals will no longer be able to:
• get an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK
• get a visa to enter the UK

You might not be able to board your flight to the UK if you do not have a British or Irish passport, or a certificate of entitlement.

If you are a dual national, check the requirements, arrange necessary documents, and make sure everything is ready before you travel.

Captain Harvey’s first time on a boat and on his way to Hayman Island for my first work conference as part of the Savenio network. How lucky is this little man!?

Travelling with kids doesn’t need to be scary or hard. I have learnt that you can do everything you did before, but add 1000 snacks breaks and slow down the pace so everyone gets nap time 😴

Hi Tids Travellers,

It’s been a while between posts because I’ve been on a different kind of adventure. In December, Richie and I welcomed our gorgeous little boy Harvey 🩵💙 With a big set of lungs and a head full of hair, he has stolen our hearts and we quickly forgot what life was before he was in it.

I am loving the change of pace as well as the challenges and excitement of becoming a mother, and the precious memories we are making. We are all learning a lot! He’s already a champion traveller ✈️ having visited Barossa Valley and New Zealand. You can probably tell from the destinations that I’m happy to be drinking wine again! 🍷🍾

I am excited to announce that I am back and ready to assist you with your travel adventures! As they say, change is as good as a holiday, and I have made the very difficult decision to leave the comfort of Travel Associates, to run my own travel business, Tidmarsh Travel. Tidmarsh Travel is the next generation of Tids Travels and it will provide me with a greater level of flexibility to suit this stage of my life and you with the same excellent service and access to great deals as you have always had.
