Sunlover Reef Cruises is proudly Australian owned and operated. Since our humble beginnings in 1991, we have introduced over 1.3 million guests to the natural wonders of The Great Barrier Reef. Our eco-certified and award-winning tours take guests to explore two pristine Outer Barrier Reef locations, Moore Reef and Arlington Reef, which can be explored off our floating pontoons. Our Moore Reef pon
toon is lazily docked 40KM off-shore of Cairns and is home to the only water slide on The Great Barrier Reef. Moore Reef has an abundance of colourful coral, fish, turtles and everything on your reef bucket list! With four hours to explore this underwater wonderland, there’s plenty of time to take advantage of all our free inclusions, such as complimentary snorkelling equipment, guided glass bottom boat, semi-sub, fish feeding, underwater observatory and touch tank presentation. Snorkel with our giant resident Maori wrasse, Wally, or, if you're feeling adventurous, explore the depths of our coral gardens by doing an intro-dive. Alternatively, immerse yourself among schools of fish in our Seawalker experience. Our half-day Arlington tour is the only half-day tour to the Outer Barrier Reef departing from Cairns. Leaving at 8AM and returning approx. 1.30pm, this trip is the perfect option for those who don’t have much time but want to see the best The Great Barrier Reef has to offer. The speedy air-conditioned catamaran trip offers more time on the Reef and less time on the boat! Arlington Reef is one of the largest reef systems in the marine park and this little-know location is home to an abundance of stunning soft corals, fish, turtles and other marine life. Your three hours on the reef includes complimentary snorkelling equipment, underwater observatory, fish feeding, kids pool, marine touch tank and light BBQ lunch. Those with a salty soul can indulge in an intro or certified dive, or ‘walk under water’ in our Seawalker experience. Those who prefer to stay dry can experience the beauty of the reef from our glass bottom boat, or fly high above the reef on a helicopter flight. See if you can spot the famous koala reef! As citizens of the reef, Sunlover is also certified as an official ecotourism operator and we take great pride in educating our guests about the importance of preserving this unique environment.

Sunlover works closely with The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) in a number of ways:

• Crown of Thorn Starfish
We applied and received a permit in 2013 at the outset of the eradication program to allow us to actively participate in the suppression of the starfish, which pose a threat to the reef.

Developed to educate guests about the reef environment, we are committed to providing ongoing support to our expert crew in achieving this status.
