The 'Bounty Hunter' was built in 1997 by O'Brien Boats in Townsville.

O'BRIEN 43ft SPORTS FISHING VESSEL with the thrill of fishing in mind. Bounty Hunter has a practical fishing layout while still achieving angler comforts of air-conditioning and direct angling action with an open rear bulk head. Bounty Hunter is a Cairns locally run family vessel. Owned by Cairns SIM Trans, who specialises in Diesel Engine & Transmission repairs. The proprietor of Bounty Hunter is Cairns born & bred and has had a passion for fishing for Black Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna and other ocean trophies since the time he could walk. Bounty Hunter is the pride of our business fleet with no costs spared in keeping her in prime fishing condition. Specifications

Bounty Hunter has been fitted out with the latest Raymarine navigation and fish finding equipment. All the electronics are fully inter grated with the spectacular surround sound entertainment system making your stay on the GBR just like being at home. Accommodations

Bounty Hunter is surveyed to travel with 6 on board including crew. She will also comfortably sleep 6 with ease in 3 sleeping areas.

3. The versatility of the saloon dining area being able to fold down into a double bed sleeping area. She has an open rear bulkhead from the saloon to the cockpit allowing for ease of interaction for the crew and anglers where the action is when

Our journey into the charter world began when Greg built Wild Turkey, creating many great memories and driving our passion for game fishing. She was followed by Square Bear (originally Bounty Hunter), and today our 43ft O’Brien Bounty Hunter (formerly Calypso) continues our involvement in the Cairns marlin fleet.
That passion continues through our daughter Lily and her love of black marlin fishing.
