Vintage Rail Journeys conducts rail tours using our own private fleet of ex-Southern Aurora Carriages. We offer an exciting series of 5 day/4 night rail tours through regional NSW on our train, starting and ending at Central Station, Sydney.

A true highlight of travelling with Vintage Rail Journeys is waking up on the train. Each evening, the train stables overnight, creating a calm and comfortable environment for a restful night’s sleep before the journey continues again at first light.

Mornings on board begins slowly. The blinds open to misty countryside, quiet towns and golden farmland, while the scent of fresh coffee drifts through the lounge carriage.

After a peaceful night on board, guests awake rested and ready for another day of exploring regional New South Wales, with unique Off Train Experiences waiting just beyond the platform.
