📰✈️ Santo is featured in this week’s Examiner Newspaper!

This week, Santo spoke with the Examiner about some of the trends we’re currently seeing in travel, including strong demand for Europe and Asia, softer interest in the United States, and the growing role of AI in the way people research and plan their holidays.

While technology is changing the way we travel, there’s still a huge difference between finding information online and having an experienced travel professional help make sense of it all, especially when plans are complicated or things don’t go quite as expected.

Traveland Armadale, circa the ’80s! 📞✈️

We couldn’t resist jumping on the “Show Me the ’80s” trend and sending Santo and Tahlia back in time to see what life as a Traveland consultant might have looked like!

Back when travel meant paper tickets, stacks of brochures, landline phones, fax machines and a whole lot of paperwork… no e-tickets or Google searches in sight!

And naturally, no trip back to the ’80s would be complete without big hair, bold colours, questionable ties and some serious shoulder pads. 😂

Of course, there’s a slight problem with calling this a genuine team throwback… Santo was still a youngster in the ’80s, and Tahlia wasn’t even born yet! 😂 So we may have needed a little AI magic to make this one happen.

Travel has certainly come a long way since the ’80s — and thankfully, so have the hairstyles! But helping people create incredible holidays never goes out of style. ❤️🌏
