✨ Rome is preparing for a truly special year.

With 2025 marking Italy’s Jubilee Year, the Eternal City will be filled with celebrations and memorable moments.

Janene recently had the opportunity to experience some of Rome’s most luxurious hotels, including: JK Place, Bvlgari, Hotel de la Ville, Hotel Eden, and the elegant Hotel de Russie. Each offered its own unique character and style, making every stay remarkable.

Exploring the city by golf buggy was both enjoyable and efficient, offering a wonderful way to take in the sights. A particular highlight was the Galleria Borghese, a treasure that should not be missed.

Rome has always been magical, but in 2025 it will be extraordinary.

⚠️ Important Travel Update for Emirates Passengers

If you’re flying with Emirates from 1 October 2025, take note: the inflight use of power banks will be banned.

You can still bring a power bank under 100Wh, but it must:
• Remain unused for the entire flight
• Be stored in your seat pocket or under your seat
• Not be placed in overhead lockers
• Not be packed in checked luggage

This change is part of Emirates’ updated safety regulations, so be sure to plan ahead before your next trip.

Timeless Tuscany 🇮🇹

Recently, Janene continued her Italian journey through one of the country’s most picturesque and enchanting regions: Tuscany.

From the coastal charm of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (the hometown of Andrea Bocelli), to the serene countryside of Castiglione della Pescaia, every moment was filled with beauty and wonder.

A highlight of the visit was the Carrara Marble Quarries, where Janene had the unique opportunity to see marble, used for centuries in sculpture and architecture being extracted directly from the mountains.

She also visited the Terme di Saturnia, a natural hot spring where gentle waterfalls cascade into crystal-clear limestone pools. A truly magical experience of nature and wellness.

Her stay at L’Andana, a peaceful retreat tucked into the Tuscan hills, provided the perfect setting to soak up the region’s charm, cuisine, and history.

Tuscany was everything she imagined....and more!!.

A look back at Milan!

Janene recently travelled to Italy as a guest of Leading Hotels of the World, enjoying an exclusive hosted stay in beautiful Milan.

Her time there included visits to the stunning Duomo and the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (where Prada opened its very first store), along with leisurely walks through Milan’s luxury shopping district, the Quadrilatero della Moda.

Between elegant accommodations, exceptional Italian cuisine, and of course, a daily scoop of gelato, the trip was the perfect blend of work and inspiration!

Rachel recently attended the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Asia Pacific in Singapore. A premier event that brought together 740 luxury travel industry members from 22 countries, along with 740 luxury suppliers including hotels, cruise lines, DMCs, and tourism boards.

Over an intensive four days, Rachel took part in pre‑scheduled one‑on‑one meetings, educational forums, and exclusive networking events including cocktail evenings, seated luncheons, and receptions.

This incredible opportunity allowed her to gain valuable insights into emerging luxury travel trends and learn about exciting new hotel openings around the world. She’s excited to bring back all this knowledge to our clients when planning their next unforgettable journeys.

🌺 Rachel Part Two: Hawaii with The Leading Hotels of the World 🌺

The final part of Rachel’s recent work trip took her to the stunning islands of Hawaii, where she explored two of the most iconic Leading Hotels of the World: Halekulani in Waikiki and The Kahala Hotel & Resort.

Both hotels showcased the perfect blend of luxury and authentic island hospitality, with serene beachfront settings, impeccable service, and a real sense of Hawaiian culture.

Beyond the hotel visits, Rachel experienced some unforgettable moments: paddling an outrigger canoe off Waikiki Beach, enjoying a private cruise along the coast, and even a magical dolphin encounter at The Kahala Resort.

Hawaii was the perfect end to an inspiring journey, showing how luxury travel can still feel personal and connected to its destination.

A Journey to the Kingdom of Bhutan – Part 2

Anita’s adventure continued with some truly special highlights.
She spent time at a peaceful nunnery where she experienced a traditional tea ceremony and listened to an insightful talk on longevity.
For those seeking a bit of adventure, Anita also completed a 5-hour hike to an elevation of 3,300 metres and hiked to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. This Monastery is perched dramatically on a cliffside and offering awe-inspiring views.
Her journey through Bhutan was a beautiful blend of culture, nature, and personal growth.

California in Style!
Rachel was lucky to explore some of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels in California as part of a recent work trip hosted by Leading Hotels of the World. The hotels included Parker Palm Springs, The Georgian in Santa Monica, and The Malibu Inn. The experiences were just as inspiring as the stays!

From the buzzing Santa Monica Pier, a futuristic ride with Waymo’s driverless cars, delicious bites at the LA Farmers Market, shopping at The Grove, to an incredible e-bike ride through the Hollywood Hills this trip was the perfect mix of luxury and local flavour.
