It is the final resting place of our Prophet Muhammad's family, thousands of early companions (Sahabah), and distinguished Islamic scholars, with graves traditionally remaining as simple, unmarked earth.

The Sierra Leonean Diaspora Pilgrims from Australia have safely arrived in Madinah for the 1447/2026 Hajj. The pilgrims are now settled in their hotel, located about a three-minute walking distance from the Prophet’s Mosque, Masjid al-Nabawi.

The group has already visited the Rawda and will continue exploring important Islamic historical sites around Madinah before departing for Makkah to begin Hajj preparations.
