Today was a family day. ❤️🇩🇪🇻🇳

Some days as a tour guide are simply different.

Today, I had the pleasure of spending time with a lovely family from Germany, and somehow, I found a kind of joy that is difficult to put into words.

And then there was JJ.

This little guy left such a wonderful impression on me.

We laughed, played, explored, and enjoyed the simple moments together. Despite coming from completely different cultures and backgrounds, we found so many ways to connect.

That's something I love about being a local guide.

You start the day as a guide and a family arrives as your guests.

But sometimes, somewhere along the way, you stop feeling like you're working.

You're simply sharing a day with people, exchanging cultures, laughing together, and creating memories.

And then, at the end of the tour, JJ surprised me with a €5 tip.

Honestly...

I almost cried. 😂❤️

Not because of the money.

But because a small gesture from a child can carry such a big meaning.

It reminded me that kindness doesn't need to be complicated.

Sometimes, it's just a smile.

Sometimes, it's a conversation.

And sometimes, it's a little €5 note that makes a local guide's entire day. 🥹

Thank you to this wonderful German family — and especially to JJ — for giving me one of those moments I'll remember for a long time.

Today wasn't just a tour.

It was a family day.

And I went home with a very happy heart. ❤️

Friendship and Brotherhood — Sometimes, It’s Simply Fate

In Vietnam, we often say that the people we meet and the moments we share are all part of our duyên — a kind of fate that brings the right people into our lives at the right time.

Today, I was lucky enough to experience that feeling again.

My guest came from France, but over time, Vietnam has become his second home. What was supposed to be a simple tour to My Son turned into 4–5 hours of stories, conversations, laughter, and sharing experiences.

We started our My Son journey at 6:00 AM, while the morning was still quiet, hoping to escape the heat. Luckily, the weather was absolutely on our side. 🌿

Maybe I should rename this experience:

“My Son Sunrise – Long Talk Experience.” 😂

Because sometimes, the most memorable part of a tour isn't the destination. It's the conversation, the connection, and the people you meet along the way.

By the end of the morning, I didn't feel like I was saying goodbye to just another guest.

I felt like I had gained a new brother and a very special friend.

And of course, no Vietnamese friendship is complete without a proper b**r time. 🍻🇻🇳

Thank you for the wonderful conversations, the laughter, and for allowing me to be part of your journey in Vietnam.

Thank you so much to Gowithguidefor creating such a wonderful opportunity for us to connect and meet one another. It was a truly unforgettable experience, filled with emotions that are difficult to put into words.

Today was a perfect day. I had the honor of welcoming two wonderful guests from the United States. Knowing that they spent nearly 20 hours on a flight just to meet local guides like us is something I can hardly describe. It is both humbling and deeply inspiring.

My heartfelt thanks to GoWithGuide and Hiroko for making this incredible experience possible. I will always treasure these precious memories.

Another unforgettable journey has come to an end. 🇻🇳❤️
Over the past 5 days and 4 nights, I had the privilege of guiding a wonderful group of 9 guests from Malaysia, including the amazing team from , Charan & Shabnam Advocates & Solicitors.
Together, we explored the very best of Central Vietnam—from the timeless charm of Hoi An Ancient Town, the breathtaking Golden Bridge, the peaceful Lady Buddha, to many local stories, flavors, and unforgettable moments along the way.
What made this tour truly special wasn't only the destinations. It was the people.
Watching colleagues, friends, and families laugh together, support one another, and create memories beyond the office reminded me that travel is one of the best investments we can make. It strengthens relationships, builds trust, and creates stories that last long after the journey ends.
A special thank you to Mr. Charan Singh for your trust, kindness, and for choosing me to be your local guide in Vietnam. It was an absolute honor to accompany your group, and I sincerely hope to welcome all of you back again in the future.
Every tour teaches me something new, and every guest leaves a meaningful memory behind. This journey will certainly be one of them.

We completed the tour in the dreamy city of Hue. Private tour, but the program has many conditions that belong to a small group tour. The weather in Hue is sunny, but the overall picture is okay. On this tour, we drank a total of 10 bottles of water in total. Lol.
