The new work boat is not far away with the trailer nearly built, brand new twin 130hp Yamaha's on their way up to Coral Coast Marine. The boat is 7.7m and will be in full 2c survey for 6 plus 1 so the video does not do this vessel justice.
It has a massive 1.8m raised casting deck for barra and sports fishing with 2 bedroom under deck storage I can roll a swag out and sleep in either one just to give some idea of how big the casting deck is. Under that we have a battery box for the minkota nice and low in the hull. On the main deck we have 2 insulated under floor esky's. 1 is 140 ltrs roughly the other is 300ltrs both drain out via bungs underfloor. We then have a 145ltr esky box seat that is for clients lunches and refreshments. It is 2.5m from the front of the console to the casting deck so it has a massive amount of room to fish on the main deck alone. Down in the operators area we have a 60ltr under floor live bait tank and a storage under operators seat for the deck wash and fuel filters with some tackle storage as well. Boat will also have a bimini and 4 movable pedistool seats. The Bimini provides shade over the main deck when requested by clients but still leaves the boat functional for barra and sports fishing if needed. Steve from Stoney Creek Boatworks has been great to deal with and accommodating my needs on this custom build project. Can't wait to have it on the water with the first clients in August and it will be a great boat for out on the Barrier Reef one Day and in catching Barra the next.

Catching solid ones is easier with gear thats up to the task. Thanks to the support of ACM Custom Rods, Tasline Braid, Fuze Seaducer Mullets, and Barambah Jig Heads it was easy to seal the deal on this 109cm Salty. Catching good numbers at the moment with the odd better one about. We have some availability next month so feel free to message us as we have an awesome 3 nights 2 days fishing/accomodation package including transfers from airport for 2 people ready to go. As a growing business we still like to go up the Northern Territory and work for the bigger companies this year we are up at Dundee Beach Fishing Charters. Matt and the Team are great to work with and run a great operation. We still have some opportunities in between stints up here for charters but will be back full time in August for the second half of the year. Here's a little clip showcasing some of the nice fish last few days.

The ACM ETERNITY 6-12lb is an awesome rod on threaddies. This 90's model from a while back was awesome fun on the light gear. Theadfin Salmon have a tendency to run clear and fast making them a viable target on lighter gear and are awesome eating. Looking forward to getting clients onto there own Threadfin Salmon.

Thanks for the support Barambah lures. The 6/0 1/4 oz jigheads are great on the Fuze Seducer 150mm mullet when needing a heavier weight. Perfect swimming action that's accounted for many big Barra. As a guide we need to use tackle that's up to the task. Fuze Seaducer Mullets and Barambah Jig heads tick the box. How cool are the 90mm Stinger Shrimp perfectly weighted these things will be deadly on many of our local species.

Thanks to Audacity Charters for getting us involved in helping out with a large group booking. With horrible conditions 15-20 knot winds and 50 - 100mm of rain most charter companies would simply cancel their bookings. But the boys wanted to go have a crack and managed to catch Grunter, Trevally, Cod, Fingermark, Jack's and Barra. Showing how with the right approach there is always some fish willing to play the game.
