Set against the spectacular landscapes of northern Botswana, Kasane offers a gateway to exceptional wildlife encounters, river experiences and the natural splendour of the Chobe region.

The Botswana Travel & Tourism Expo (BTTE 2026) will take place in Kasane from 23–27 November 2026, bringing together tourism stakeholders to showcase Botswana’s diverse tourism offerings, explore business and investment opportunities, strengthen industry partnerships and promote the destination to the global market.

The Expo provides a platform for tourism businesses and industry players to build meaningful connections, exchange ideas and advance the growth and competitiveness of Botswana’s tourism sector.

𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐘.

The Department of Tourism is conducting the Visitor Expenditure Survey, which runs until 25 October 2026, to gather valuable insights into visitors’ experiences, spending patterns, and satisfaction with Botswana as a tourism destination.

As the survey continues, exceptional feedback from visitors across the tourism spectrum reaffirms the warmth, hospitality, and memorable experiences that make Botswana truly special.

Insights from a returning visitor who has once again selected Botswana. Her experience is a compelling reminder that tourism is about more than the destinations explored; it's also about the people you meet, the warmth of Botswana's hospitality, and the lasting memories that inspire you to return.

Every visitor’s experience matters. The survey insights will deepen understanding of visitor needs and inform efforts to enhance Botswana’s tourism offering and position the country as a preferred tourism destination.
