A Perfect Little Summer Escape ๐๐ฒ๐งโ๏ธ
We wrapped up a quick but memorable family road trip from Calgary,AB to Armstrong, BC. The perfect little getaway to enjoy the beautiful summer weather this side of the country has to offer!
๐ฟ The Enchanted Forest was pure magic a whimsical stop that the kids absolutely loved, full of fairy-tale charm and forest adventures.
๐ Salmon Arm Beach gave us a lovely lakeside break to cool off and soak in the views.
๐ณ We also visited the Giant Tree Boardwalk, breathtakingly beautiful. Although a portion of it is permanently closed due to a fallen tree years ago, the towering forest still made for a stunning walk.
๐๏ธ One of the most fascinating stops was Three Valley Gap, a ghost town full of character and history. We learned so much about how this once-bustling little community thrived in its heyday.
๐ง In Armstrong, we couldnโt miss a stop at the Armstrong Cheese Company , hands down the best cheese curds weโve ever had!
๐ฆ And of course, we treated ourselves at Dutchmen Dairy, Sicamous. Their chocolate milk and homemade ice cream are unlike anything else, rich, creamy, and absolutely worth the stop.
If youโre craving a short, scenic road trip filled with nature, small-town charm, great eats, and family fun ,this one definitely checks all the boxes ๐
