Established in 1990, The Halifax Ghost Walk is the oldest Ghost Walk in North America. A 1 hour and 45 minute walking tour through the original city blocks of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Stories of ghosts, pirates, forerunners and devils from the folklore of Nova Scotia. With a good dose of the city's history to give the stories context. It is an interesting, thought-provoking, & fun way to spend part o
f an evening in Halifax. The stories we tell come from Nova Scotia's rich history of folklore, tales past down through families, or stories collected by our tour guides themselves. We start at 8:30pm from The Old Town Clock on scheduled nights and conclude at the end of a quiet, creaky & secluded wharf at the harbour’s edge.
