Visiting London? MI5: Official Secrets" is giving the public the chance to see equipment and methods used by the real life James Bond and his colleagues over the agency's 115-year history at The National Archives museum.

From counter-espionage and daring double-agents during the world wars, to chilling Cold War confessions and the counter-terrorism of recent times, this historic exhibition will take you behind the scenes of one of Britain’s most iconic institutions.

The exhibition opens at The National Archives in southwest London and runs from April 5 to September 28, 2025 and is FREE. You do not need to book to visit the exhibition. The National Archives is located by the River Thames in Kew, 30 minutes from Central London. The nearest stations are Kew Gardens, which is served by the District tube line and the London Overground line, and Kew Bridge, served by South West Trains.

It can help cover the cost of medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost baggage, and other unexpected events.

When you’re looking for travel insurance, make sure it covers:

Medical evacuations to Canada or the nearest place with medical care
Pre-existing conditions
Repatriation in case of death
Trip cancellations and interruptions
Lost or stolen luggage

Keep in mind that many travel insurance policies may not cover you if you travel to regions where the Government of Canada advises to “avoid non-essential travel” or “avoid all travel”. Casa Rosa (means pink house) is a charming, unassuming terracotta ‘casa’ just a short walk from the shops and cafés of Olhão in the Algarve (Portugal).

Renovated 1950s mansion in the heart of Olhao turned in to a B&B (Private luxury villa). With 9 charming en-suite rooms that offer luxury linens and rain showers, plus a living/dining room, courtyard with plunge pool and spacious terraces. Dutch Windmill close to the centre of Amsterdam? Plan a visit to De Gooyer Windmill. Take a short tram ride to see this historic landmark paired with a modern twist at Brouwerij 't IJ, a craft brewery right next door. This spot is a favorite for adults looking to blend a bit of Dutch history with a taste of local flavors.

Standing as one of Amsterdam’s last remaining city windmills, De Gooyer offers a striking backdrop for the brewery’s popular beer garden. Brouwerij 't IJ is known for its extensive selection of craft beers, from refreshing IPAs to rich stouts, all brewed on-site. For those interested in the brewing process, the brewery offers guided tours that explain the art of Dutch beer-making, including the history and ingredients that give their brews such unique character. After the tour, guests can unwind in the beer garden, mingling with locals over a freshly poured drink while taking in the charming presence of De Gooyer.

It is the tallest wooden mill in the Netherlands at 26.6 meters high. It is registered as a National Monument. Originally used as a flour mill, it dates back from around 1609, when the mill was owned by Claes and Jan Willemsz, two brothers from Gooiland. In 1814, the wooden frame was placed on top of the stone walls it still rests on today, It is one of the few remaining wooden windmills within the city of Amsterdam.
