WE FOUND A HOME 💚✨

The secret is out… Hoodoo Adventures officially has a new home!

Starting June 1st, you’ll find us at:
📍 #84-52 Front Street, Penticton

We honestly couldn’t be more excited. In our same old stomping grounds, and tucked right into the heart of downtown, close to the lake, the trail, great food, music, art, coffee, and community connection feels like the perfect next chapter for Hoodoo.

While the space is still coming together behind the scenes, our purpose remains the same:
Creating adventures that bring people together, get folks outside, and remind us all how good it feels to move, connect, laugh, explore, and breathe fresh air together. 🌿

This move has come with a whole lot of hard work, uncertainty, excitement, and support from this incredible community, and we are so grateful for every message, every booking, every shared post, and every person cheering us on along the way.

Until June 1st, bookings remain fully open online and by phone for tours, rentals, shuttles, camps, and adventures. We are currently operating remotely. 🚲🛶

This long weekend you can find us at the Market Saturday and parked out front of the new location on Sunday, if you're looking for bike rentals or shuttles - or you just want to say hello!

We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space soon.
New walls. Same heart. Same adventure-loving crew. 💚✨

Adventure has a funny way of leading us exactly where we’re meant to be. 🍃

May Long Magic ☔🌿💚

It’s raining… which must mean May Long weekend is almost here.

Honestly, it’s tradition at this point. Weeks of sunshine getting everyone excited for camping trips, lake days, and long weekend adventures… and then, right on cue, comes the rain.

Like clockwork.

But we don’t complain about rain in our house. It’s an agreement we have with each other, and one I have with Mother Nature too.

So embrace those big beautiful drops. Thank the rain gods. Maybe even get out there and dance in it a little.

And the best part?
The trails are going to be absolutely perfect this weekend. 🌲

So grab your rain jacket, splash through the puddles, breathe in that fresh earth smell, and get outside.

Adventure doesn’t wait for perfect weather… and neither should we ☔💚

Suspended in Time 🌿🐦💚

I’ve been spending a little more time lately in the stillness.

Excited to share news of our new Hoodoo home soon, yet also feeling suspended in this strange in-between season. Standing still, much like Daniel’s tree, which I visit each morning for a chat. Quiet moments. Deep breaths. Thoughts that stretch far beyond the day ahead.

My mind buzzes with possibility, like the hummingbirds that visit the porch each day... full of energy and wonder. Shaped by the past, like this beautiful valley, carved over time by the hardness of the glacier. Softened in some places. Strengthened in others.

Deep in thought.
Open enough to share.
Learning how to reconnect not just to nature, because that connection has always been there, but to purpose.

Maybe that’s part of healing.
Maybe that’s part of growth.
Maybe that’s simply part of the journey.

For now... I’m learning to be okay in the pause between what was and what comes next. 💚

Ready for the next adventure that finds us. Stay tuned. 🌿

Go Anywhere 🌍💚

For a little while now, we’ve been in that in-between space…
packing up memories, letting go of what was, and trusting what’s next.

It hasn’t always been clear.
It hasn’t always been easy.

But one thing we’ve always believed in is this:
you don’t need to have the whole path mapped out… you just need the courage to take the next step.

And sometimes, “anywhere” turns into exactly where you’re meant to be.

We found a home. 💚
And we can’t wait to share it with you.

Stay tuned… the next adventure is about to begin.

Let’s just say… it feels right, and we think you’re going to love what’s coming. 💚

How Lucky Are We 🌊💚✨

Even with the uncertainty of the past few weeks, searching for a new Hoodoo home. I still find myself looking around and thinking… how lucky are we?

Penticton, like many communities right now, is navigating its share of challenges. But if we have to face those things, what a place to do it... in the middle of all this beauty.

I was chatting with a friend yesterday about slowing down enough to notice the little things. Finding community. Cherishing connection. Appreciating what’s right in front of us - even if it shows up in the form of a pet goat 🐐 (and yes… if you’ve been following along, the goat energy is still strong over here).

It feels good to talk about the good things. With some lightness. Some laughter. Some joy.

Because while there may be a lot of noise and chaos in the world, there is also so much peace to be found in the quiet moments.

On the water.
In conversation.
Alone, together... or maybe even with a goat.

And I find myself wanting more of that.

Grateful for the beauty around us, and the moments that bring us back to it 🌊💚

Gratitude in the Morning ☀️💚✨

I feel incredibly blessed.

Each morning, I wake up and watch the sun rise over the mountain from my bedroom window. Before I reach for my phone, I take a few quiet moments to think about everything I’m grateful for.

It’s a practice that’s become really important to me.

And then… I pick up my phone.

Usually to a string of messages from my bookings manager, and one of my favorite humans, Lindsey, who’s four hours ahead on East Coast time and often well into her day before I’ve even opened my eyes.

More often than not, those messages are about tours and shuttles filling up.

And of course, I’m grateful for those too.

Because bookings mean something bigger.
They mean people choosing to get outside.
To connect.
To adventure.

A double blessing, really, we get to do what we love, and others get to experience it.

While I’ve loved using this space lately to share reflections and moments that matter, this is also part of what we do.

We create opportunities for adventure.

So if you’ve been feeling that pull to get outside, gather your people, and make some memories… here are a few upcoming ways to join us:

May 2 & 3 – Myra Canyon Shuttle (4 seats left)
May 8 – Adra Tunnel E-bike Tour (6 seats left)
May 10 – Mother’s Day Kayak Brunch Tour (6 seats left)
May 18 – Myra Canyon Shuttle (10% off - 6 seats left)
(You can find all the details through the link in our bio.)

Grateful for every sunrise, and every adventure that follows ☀️💚

Supporting Local Passion 🐐💚✨

I have to admit… for years now, I’ve had this quiet (okay, not so quiet) dream of living off the land and becoming fully self-sufficient.

My algorithm definitely feeds it with homesteading videos, making your own cheese, and of course… miniature goats.

Honestly, can you get any cuter?

I’m not quite ready for that level of commitment just yet, so yesterday I did the next best thing.

Loaded up Geoffrey (our trusty shuttle bus) with some of my favorite people, my kids, nieces, nephews, and my very reluctant partner, who is fairly certain I’m going to come home with a truck full of animals one of these days 😉🐐.

And off we went to get our goat fix.

GottaGoat Farm, just 20 minutes out of town, was such a special experience. The owners were incredibly welcoming, sharing their knowledge, their animals, and their passion so generously.

And let me tell you, if you can take a van full of teenagers somewhere and have them smiling the entire time, completely engaged, and leaving wanting more… you’ve created something pretty amazing.

Thank you, GottaGoat Farm, for such a memorable day and for all the incredible programs you offer. We’ll definitely be back… maybe next time for goat yoga 🐐✨
Oh Penticton, what an amazing place to live and play. 🥰

Layers of Time 🚴‍♂️🌲💚✨

I can’t believe it’s already been nearly 8 years since we were a part of the operation and revitalization of Chute Lake Lodge.

I remember sanding each log of those old cabins by hand, thinking about the people who lived and worked there over 100 years ago, keeping the rail moving, building something much bigger than themselves.

Earlier that same day, I had done a workout… and couldn’t help but laugh. Back then, no one “worked out.” Life was the workout.

And now, all these years later, we shuttle and provide bikes so thousands of people can experience that same rail trail, once used to move essential resources through the region.

It’s fascinating how living fully in the present can connect us so deeply to the past.

Same space.
Same trail.
Different time.

All of us moving through it in our own way.

A reminder that every path holds stories, past, present, and still to come.
We hope to cross your path on the trail soon. 🚴‍♂️💚
