🎉 Parade Night at the EOFA Games 🎉

After a full day of competition, the excitement continues with the EOFA Parade and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 20 June 2026 in Pakenham. Parade lineup begins at 6:30 pm on McWatty Road near the golf course, and the parade starts at 7:00 pm. Awards ceremonies follow at 8:00 pm.

This year’s parade route leaves from the Pakenham Highlands Golf Club on McWatty Road, then travels:
• Left onto County Road 29
• Right onto Renfrew Street
• Right onto McFarlane Street
• Left onto Jessie Street
• Right onto Margret Street, finishing at the racetrack.

The full route is approximately 1.6 km.

The trophy ceremony will take place at the Judges Stage following the parade.
Bring the family, line the route, and help us celebrate the hard work, camaraderie, and tradition behind one of the longest-running firefighter competitions in the country. 🎉

“You miss 100 of the shots you don’t take” - Wayne Gretzky

Didn’t end up finding the storms I was hoping for but every opportunity is a learning experience for next time. Even found a sunset in Portland after it all.

Pretty gust front from a dying storm here in Saint-Hermas, Quebec as the day comes to a close in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.

With too much cloud cover and suboptimal wind shear, we didn't have enough time for the atmosphere to destabilize after morning rain, and storms could not sustain properly because of the suboptimal wind shear. Both issues were mentioned in yesterday's forecast as possible scenarios that could turn today into a bust, which is exactly what happened.

Still got into the belly of the storms around St. Isidore and Plantagenet and got some great structure.

The focus now turns to Saskatchewan, where tornadoes are expected in the next couple hours. Tom's got the live coverage for that, and we have two storm chasers (Kurtis Fafard and Shannon Bileski) streaming for Canadian Weather Live out there in Saskatchewan.
