2026 marks twenty-five years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, which changed the world forever. To honour the anniversary, the Stratford Film Festival and City of Stratford are holding two community screenings of the acclaimed Canadian Documentary You Are Here: A Come From Away Story on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 4:00pm and 7:00pm at Stratford City Hall Theatre. A conversation with You Are Here Director Moze Mossanen will follow the screenings.

"Rather than focusing solely on the tragedy that day, You Are Here tells one of the remarkable stories of hope and compassion that emerged in its aftermath in Gander, Newfoundland."

The September 11 screenings are community events sponsored by the City of Stratford and the Stratford Film Festival. Admission is complimentary, with a "Pay What You Wish" option for those who would like to support future Stratford Film Festival community events.

The 7:00pm show is already sold out, so get your tickets quickly while you still can!

Notes from Underground returns to the Stratford Perth Museum!🎸🎶🎤

On Monday, August 31st, enjoy live rock ‘n’ roll, snacks, drinks, and good vibes in support of the museum!

Notes from Underground, formed in 2021, features Stratford Festival Artists Ben Carlson, Graham Hargrove, Bethany Jillard, and Aaron Krohn. The group offers a “unique blend of alternative rock, pop, and literary-inspired lyrics” along with stellar performances.
