Really been honing in on the prawn this year. 3 hr soak got around 500 count, had to let half of them go. Come gettum before the commercial guys wipe em out mid may!

Couple of brothers slaying the fish. Some beautys today, very nice size class for this time of year. Caught some, lost some, memories for life.

#3 Irish cream was the ticket today using a chartreuse electro flasher from West Coast fishing tackle.

The fish are finally back in their normal spots, not down in the basement (200+ft)

Great Bear and Alley rock, set down at 99ft (Gretzky!) and 111ft, in 125ft of water. Even caught one on the surface but it probably followed the rigger up when I was checking for weeds.

Lotta fun!

Another great day, after a week of rain (500mm roughly 20inches, in 5 days 😂) it was nice to see the sun today and get our limit of prawn and a couple of nice hatchery chinook. 3 left for the year!

As always, I love the electro flashers and the van herring spoon from Westcoast Fishing Tackle just slays the fish. The season is picking up! I have a few Charters the next few days and am filling up fast for the peak season, get booked before it's too late!

A quick trip out with the missus. Killer whales, gray whales, eagles, salmon and for a quick 2hour soak, our limit of spot prawn 🦐 the ocean is alive and full of life!
This week is going to be horrible weather so it was nice taking advantage of this beaut of a day

A couple of hand rails to get in and out of the boat easier and safer and some rod holders for the hardtop.

The winning ticket today. I'm horrible at getting vids and pix when the action is hot but the teeth mark proves it all. The Van herring spoon slays the winter springs.

Also, I have been using this Westcoast Fishing Tackle flasher since last winter, everyday on the water with it, as a guide, I've put on alot of hours and days on the water this year and this is as beat up as it is, even though there are warning labels that it'll break down, rest assured they last a long long time and this one still fishes really well.

Was able to go fishing finally! A successful day. Couple chinook, couple rockfish and a halibut all released, to swim another day.
