Autonomous Offshore Fish Farming Vessel Ocean Ark Set for French Flag with DNV Approval

The Ocean Ark is a 174-meter-long, 64-meter-wide vessel designed for open-water fish farming with a 5,000-ton capacity per cycle and a 25-day autonomous runtime. Developed by Ocean Sovereign and Ocean Arks Technology, she features a self-cleaning trimaran hull and complies with IMO, MARPOL, and SOLAS regulations. Designed to drift with fish shoals and ocean currents, she minimizes ecological impact while maximizing fish welfare and production stability in high-sea environments.

DNV is overseeing vessel certification and classification for French registration, aiming to ensure operational safety and system integrity. The collaboration targets challenges facing traditional fish farms like algae blooms, marine heatwaves, and storms. With France’s large maritime zone and robust seafood market, the Ocean Ark is part of Ocean Sovereign’s broader plan to deploy a fleet capable of producing 120,000 tons of fish annually for Europe and the US within five years.

West Coast Special Dinner
Dungeness Crab 🦀  & Moose Steak.
Economics crab was actually cheap at 20.00 bought live  at the dock. The Moose was even better frozen packaged gift from a friend. Restaurants price would be about 80.00 and doubt it will be Moose crab 1 to 3 days old.

For all my Panamanian friends and Urbanites that don't know what a Moose is.  I have included the pictures of the wild version of each. The Moose is the one with the Antlers.
Really enjoyed this meal even have left overs and it's been over a year since I had crab so really enjoyed it. Oh yes plus smothered in garlic butter  🧈  here goes the blood pressure again.

Time to vac pak the fruits of our labor.
Another great catch of Sushi Grade Yellow Fin Tuna. Nothing better than seared tuna loins. Literally one of the best meat/ fish I have ever eaten.

The red arrow is my plane over alberta the lake above it is Litte Bow. Travers Reservoir one of my favorite places spent thousands of days here with great friends fishing water-skiing parasailing behind my boat learned to hunt here taught many others too great times great friends. Never Forget.

The last supper before leaving Panama. My sister Jennifer Stanley made her awesome shrimp and pasta. Her hubby my fishing partner Gordon Nye made the Snapper from our last fishing trip. Awesome dinner hate to leave but I'll be back. Anxious to get home.
