Travel Agents used to work solely from the built in commissions within vacation packages. Due to the drastic and complex changes within the industry, the additional time & detail that goes into our work, and all of the unfortunate cancelations- I’ve reformatted my business model to incorporate professional planning fees (outlined below). These differ depending on the level of customization required in planning and managing certain vacations. Travel Planning Fees:
-All Inclusive Resorts/Cruise Vacations/Predesigned Tours - $150/household
*Reduced for return clients & referrals*
-Custom Vacations/Tours - Planning fee starting at $250.
$100/household for additional travellers who book into the same itinerary at a later date.
-Concierge Only - $100/household. This is for those who are looking for information only while booking their own vacation (with air miles, travel vouchers etc).
-Flight Only- I’m happy to book flights as part of your vacation package but no longer process flight only bookings. Potential Additional Fees:
Rebooking Fee - $50/household. This is charged when travel dates are changed. This is in addition to any supplier cancelation fees or terms. Charged at the time of cancelation. Pricing subject to change. GST is added to all fees. All fees are non-refundable. My successful travel business is based on your awesome referrals and I am always grateful for them!
