Want To Be A Ghost?

As we do every year, we're holding two open casting calls for our upcoming Lucky 19th Season.

Stop by, meet Jerome, read a script.

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, April 16 and next week Thursday, April 23 at Studio Z in Wolfville’s Al Whittle Theater. We'll be there from 1-7pm, find us in Jack's Gallery.

Performances this year, like all years, will happen every second Thursday from Apple Blossom to Halloween with a few special shows thrown in for good measure.

Ghosts receive a percentage of the evening's box office.

You can find this ad in the current Grapevine

If you can't make these, please DM us. We'd love to hear from you. The ghosts are all around us.

Once again in early December, we haunted the Wolfville Farmers Market by selling raffles for their annual Get Unscrooged event.

The gift basket to win was close to a thousand dollars worth of market vendor goodness. It's an incredible thing to win, especially in time for Christmas and the holidays.

Although I can't find any photos of them from that morning, thank you to the ghosts who helped raise just short of two grand for the Wolfville Food Bank and the WFM Nourishing Communities Program.

This was our 15th year helping and the third highest total:

2025 - $1926
2024 - $2635
2023 - $2400+
2022 - $1792

Thank you to the community for supporting this honourable cause.

PS, the Wolfville Farmers Market happens every Saturday, but the vendors this morning mentioned it was slower than normal. Keep getting out of the house, everyone!!

Cheers to our community and our Lucky 19th Season.

Jerome and Mona haunted two grade 10 classes at NKEC last week. Thank you, Mike Smith, for inviting us back to deliver more of Jerome's Workshops.

Regardless of the desired timeframe, Jerome's Workshops include 1/3 performance, 1/3 entrepreneurship chat, 1/3 creative writing, What's Your Ghost Story?

Seeing 20+ kids with their heads down, writing their stories is actually pretty cool. Some even get up near the end of class to present their stories. Bribes of Werthers never hurt.

Thank you for the invite , let's do it again.

01/02/2026

It was a special evening in September when the Night Kitchen made a triumphant resurrection to Wolfville.

A Covid casualty, these gatherings of fine local talent needed to be brought back to life. They asked Jerome the Gravekeeper to start the show with a brief history lesson and I was honoured to do so. Although I'm not too musical, these nights have always added warmth to my ghostly heart.

What an evening is was with over 14 musicians playing to a sold-out, music-appreciating audience.

Although Jerome won't be there tomorrow, I've heard good things about the next host. Surprisingly, as of tonight, there are still tickets left!

Unless there's a last minute private booking still to come, Saturday evening for Gates Insurance was, most likely, our last performance of the season.

Cheers to another successful season and cheers to Devour and all the cool things they'll continue to create in our special little town.

We really did have a wonderful time. Thank you for including us.

Last Thursday, Jerome the Gravekeeper and his Ghostly Friends haunted Wolfville's Randall House Museum with two more complimentary Ghost Talks. This is the second oldest structure in town and is a really special, intimate location for a local history lesson.

Besides a little brightning, that transparent picture of Isaac Chipman wasn't doctored whatsoever. One of the best Valley Ghost Walk pictures taken in the last 18 years.

Only 11 and 6 brave souls ended up attending, which is one of risks of running free shows. Regardless of all the unused, but spoken for, tickets, the ghosts still brought their energy. Thank you, once again, for your talents

As for tomorrow's scheduled Ghost Talk at the White Family Funeral Home in Kentville, it's been postponed to a later, undetermined date in early 2026.

We are very sorry for the late update, but we look forward to starting a new season with fresh energy.

Thank you again for a wonderful, Lucky 18 season. This is still a lot of fun.

We always have a good time at Donna's Broken Leg Theatre.
Isaac Deschamps from the Windsor Ghost Walk joined Jerome on the Al Whittle stage this past Saturday.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to share more of the Valley's fascinating history.
