this delightful family from Ireland & England.

I picked them up downtown Halifax and took them directly to the Scots Bay Wharf where Skipper Mike was waiting for them with the Zodiac.

Work brought him to Nova Scotia, so he figured his family ought to come along to see the sights. Good choice! The Bay was like glass, perfect for a Rip to the Split!

We all had more time so we ended up at the Dickie-Baxter Taproom & Bistro in Canning for lunch followed by exploring the Lookoff, Wolfville, and Grand Pre.
PS, get a great breakfast up Lookoff Family Campground & Canteen

As for this Saturday, there is a once in a season opportunity for both a morning and an afternoon departure. If you're interested in doing both, I'm sure we could celebrate that somehow.

Saturday, August 8, 6:32am
Saturday, August 8, 6:58pm
Sunday, August 9, 8:06am

If interested, contact me directly.

These are the three main things that keep me busy for more than half the year.

Showcasing the Annapolis Valley (and beyond) is exactly what I want to do. It's a blast and an honour... and a lot of work staying on top of all the correspondence!

So far, so good.
T'was my best ever May, and best ever June.
Let's see what the rest of the year will bring. If you're interested in exploring our delicious province with me, please let me know.

Ghosts, wine, boats, or whatever, I'll show you Where It's At!!

April means that it's Burger Wars!

Once again, we're offering Burger Tours to help you taste them all.

We can do Burgers-Only or Burgers and Beverages. Have it your way.

Half-Burgers will be served along the way. The mini tour includes 2 stops while the jumbo tour includes 7... that's a lot of meat. No one has ever ordered the jumbo, will you be the first??

Don't forget, $1 of every Burger War Burger sold in the month of April goes to , kids in financial aid in Kings County. This year a record 59 locations are participating.

However you do it, eat burgers for the kids!
It's a win-win-win!

American Classic Tours has hired me for a few years in a row now to look after their guests in Digby

I'm not exactly a local to that end of the Valley (or is it the Valley?), so I subcontract Greg, a Digby local, and together we tagteam these fun adventures. His daughter runs the on the main drag.

Most of these guests were from the Chicago area so, therefore, it was mostly their first time in Nova Scotia. Their excursion consisted of 1 week throughout Southern Nova Scotia.

We met them at the Point Prim Lighthouse and boarded their coach to head to the Trinity Anglican Church, the Maud Lewis memorial, and downtown Digby.

Thank you so much for the opportunity, showing off Southern Nova Scotia is exactly what I want to do. I reckon the guests enjoyed our personal touch.

As for today, I find myself in Cancun, poolside at an all-inclusive. I've never done this.... but I love it. Keep the tequila a'comin. Cheers to all the Americanos.

The inquires keep rolling in, please think of me for all your tour and transportation needs!

Nanna and her two granddaughters, all originally from Ontario, travel together from time to time. One now lives in Cape Breton, so it was time for an East Coast visit. Photos from afar only, please.

I picked them up in the shiny new black Honda at the and took them to find wine at , .ridge , & . Those hot olives at Planters and the fries at Lightfoot are always a treat. Quite often, my business expenses are really yummy.

We found time for a breif history lesson at the Landscape Grand Pre UNESCO World Heritage Site before getting them back to Wolfville.

Thank you for the booking, keep exploring our incredible province.

As for today... I'm off to Cancun for a week!! Mom turned 80 this month, so this is a once in a lifetime family trip. I wonder how much this can be claimed as a business expense...?

"They were attentive, curious, loving, respectful.... the perfect guests" - my notes.

What a glorious day this was with these two from Ontario. They were in NS for 10 days because her sister was getting married near Mahone Bay. They had already done Cape Breton and tidal bore rafting up the Shubie. Next up was the South Shore, so I provided them with a lot of options.

Although they had met online 10 years ago, they were still so smitten with each other. Watching them intact was refreshing and hopeful. He's in software while she works at a drug company... she doesn't get discounts.

I picked them up in Halls Harbour for a Full-Day Day adventure with stops & for lunch. We also made a quick chocolate pitstop
Thank you for your continued excellent customer service.

I vibed with these two from the start and making this post now is a good reminder of why I'm doing what I'm doing. They were going home with fun memories and fascinating stories from Nova Scotia. Job well done.

As for today, I booked another couple of airport runs. Tours are what I love, but transportation services are also on the wheelhouse. Please keep me in mind for either.

First olive, first oysters.
Zero converts.

This foursome from Hantsport wanted a time in the Valley, so a time is exactly what they had.

After picking them up from their ranch down a long dirt road, I took them to (for the olives) & (for the oysters).

Halfway through, the one and only David Henry crashed the party and hung out with us for a bit. There's always room for you,

I dropped them off downtown knowing I was going to get them back home safely later on. Somehow he worked his charm to get them into for the sold-out Tragically Hip cover band

As for today, I find myself at the Old O procrastinating from writing a Grapevine article for the upcoming Local Libations issue. Somehow I feel like I've been in this position before...

After meeting online, she took a bus from Dartmouth to Antigonish to meet him. Not soon after, they were exploring the Wineapolis Valley together. I liked their vibes.

I picked them up from an Airbnb in Kentville and took them to &
As always, thank you for your tremendous customer service.

Today the sun is out and spring wants to make an appearance. It's still a little chilly, though. I hate to say it, but we're not done with the show quite yet. There's still the Smelt Snow, the Robin's Snow, and the Poor Man's Fertilizer to come. I've never known the order.

Please continue to think of me for all your tour & transportation needs.

This crew first met in high school. She now lives in Halifax, so this was them visiting her for the first time.

There's nothing quite like high school friends. Remember high school? Remember not having cell phones back then? Not having cameras so accessible certainly kept us out of trouble đŸ˜‡

I picked them up this dreary day at an Airbnb on Linden Ave. and took them to
&
As always, thank you so much for the customer service, Lucketts always hits their lunches outta the park.

As for today, I'm needing a productive week so that I can go on vacation at the end of the month feeling even more excited for the upcoming season. Sure, the world is potentially on a tipping point and gas could hit $2.75 or something crazy.... but what can we do? Stay optimistic, I guess. What a time this is.

Thank you for your continued interest in our delicious Valley. Please continue to think of Where It's At Tours for all your tour and transportation needs.
