For the month of February to the end of April (approximately. It will depend on the water level) we can take a morning to visit Medio Queso, and look for the Pinnated Bittern, Least Bittern, Yellow-breasted crake, forktail flycatcher, sore. These are some birds that are more difficult to spot in Caño Negro, and easier in Medio Queso.
If those birds are not on your target list, we are going to spend more time in Caño Negro.
