Lufthansa has announced an increase in its service between Frankfurt and San José, expanding from three to five weekly flights. The enhanced schedule will connect Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the 2026–2027 winter season, from October 25, 2026, through March 27, 2027.

Adding to the excitement, the airline will operate the route with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring Lufthansa’s new Allegris cabin concept, designed to deliver enhanced comfort, premium amenities, and an elevated travel experience across all classes.
