A floating astronaut over the neighbourhood of Kreuzberg near Kottbuser Tor in Berlin!

Kottbuser Tor is known as the S0 36 neighbourhood in Berlin, one day decades ago the territory of the 36 Boys, this was the name of a turkish collective of graffiti writers, musicians, artists, that at the same time were labeled under the concept of gang because of crime activities during the 70s and 80s, until the beginning of the 90s...when the gangs of Berlin where disbanded.

This astronaut stands between a rock and a hard place, and it was painted in 2007 during the Street Art Back Jump Festival!

The space race between USA and USSR, Berlin subcultures, the human necessity to scape reality, David Bowie and his song Space Oddity are some of the meanings associated with this Berlin's classic Street Art mural!

Very good ambient at this art spot, bohemian and selective at the same time, this places offers you art, activities, and very good coffee options, like lavender coffee...

The meals and food here have very interesting options. This place is in a very important National Landmark of Berlin calelled: Heckmann Höfe, The Heckmann courtyards!

A National Landmark because of the importance of the architecture design, the courtyards and buildings were finished being built in 1887!
