Hi, I am Cristina, I was born in Ecuador and got my first taste of travelling at a very young age, partly due to my family´s keen interest in history, nature and their love for travelling and meeting new people. I am keen

Have you ever heard of Ecuador's "Hidden Route" (La Ruta Escondida)?

Just 1.5 hours from Quito, we discovered two charming villages that many travelers miss: Puéllaro and Perucho.

We enjoyed freshly baked pan de mandarina (6 pieces for just $1!), homemade mandarin and gulupa ice cream, panoramic views over citrus orchards, Ecuador's oldest wooden church, and even tasted locally made mandarin wine and liqueur.
