Our guests often comment in reviews and messages that they did not want to leave at the end of their time with us on our dahabiya Safiya or Safiya II.

In addition to the memories of the tour experience, many of our guests make new friendships onboard.

To make the parting also a happy memory, we host a farewell evening including delicious food and music, to leave everyone with a lasting taste of the friendly, relaxed atmosphere we strive to create onboard.

We begin this tour with a drive from Luxor to Esna, visit the Temple of Esna, restored caravanserai and market, then check in to the dahabiya and sail to El Hegz Village.

Next stop is El Kab to explore the New Kingdom tombs. We sail to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. At Bisaw Island and village we join the local fishermen on their boats, and visit a local home. At El Selsela we visit rock shrines and a massive quarry.

We sail on in comfort to Kom Ombo temple. In the nearby town of Daraw learn how to shop like a local at the market, and visit a barn to meet camels and learn about the camel trade. As we sail closer to our final destination Aswan there is an opportunity to swim or kayak.
