Sundays on the Costa Brava.

Camping by the coast, the kind where you fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up before anyone else does. Paddleboarding at first light when the water is still glass. Long swims so clear you can see your shadow on the sand.

Then the bikes out for the road between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu. 23km of cliff road above the Mediterranean, switchbacks climbing through pine forest, every corner opening onto another hidden cove. The kind of road you ride slowly because you keep stopping to look.

Coffee in Tossa to start. Lunch by the harbour in Sant Feliu to finish. The road does the rest.
Salt on your skin, legs tired, sun going down over the water.

Hard to beat.

Summer’s almost here and so are our guests.
