Well... this feels like the perfect time for a reintroduction👋🏻

I'm Elizabeth... also known as Libby, Liz & Betty

Mum to two teenagers who are somehow now charged as ADULTS on holidays & wife to Neil.

Lover of holidays, cheesy pop music & saying "f*ck it" and booking the trip anyway.

I've spent 26 years with the same company after joining as an 18 year old girl who had no clue who she was.

Now I'm leaving as a 40-something woman who's finally backing herself.

Two years ago I joined the travel business just to save money on holidays... and somehow it's turning into a whole new chapter of my life It

Terrifying? Absolutely.
Exciting? Also yes.

Somewhere between paying bills, feeding everyone and pretending I’ve got my life together… I still book the nail appointment 💅🤣

Because millennial mums know it’s not really “just nails”.
It’s one hour of peace. A little confidence boost. A tiny reminder that we matter too.

Money’s tight for a lot of people right now, and I’ll never pretend otherwise… but I also refuse to feel guilty for the small things that make me feel human again.

Also… life’s too short to walk around with one broken nail and a breakdown pending 😭😂

And honestly? Having a little side income through travel has helped me keep saying yes to the extras without the mum guilt creeping in 👀✈️

Broken nail era = OVER.

Shout out to all the millennial mums out here dancing like it's the 90s again and finally realising that keeping ourselves happy is just as important as keeping the kids alive 💃🏼

The era of the exhausted martyr mum is over.😍

We're making memories, prioritising the sisterhood, protecting our peace, and running dangerously low on fcks to give for people who don't deserve our energy 😜

And somehow... we just keep getting hotter with age 😀

I’m Elizabeth… although depending on how you know me that could be Libby, Liz or Betty 👋

Welcome to my page! I thought I’d start by introducing myself properly.

I live in Port Glasgow on the west coast of Scotland with my husband Neil and our amazing kids Logan & Mia. Life is busy with my senior corporate role, family life and the usual mum duties (which mostly involve being a taxi service these days!).

Now that the kids are getting older and becoming more independent, I’ve realised something… I suddenly have a bit more time on my hands.

Instead of filling it scrolling my phone every night, I decided to do something different.

Neil and I love travelling and making memories together, and I started looking for something that would let me combine that love of travel with the opportunity to create an extra income and maybe help others do the same.

That’s how I discovered the The Getaway Collwction I’m now part of.

I absolutely love being by the water – that’s my happy place – and I’ve recently discovered a new love for cruising. I never thought I’d be a cruise person, but after my first one I was completely hooked! 🚢

To be fair though… give me any holiday, any plane, any destination and I’m happy ✈️

Now I get to help people book amazing trips and show others how they can start their own travel business too.
