Bank holiday spent at my favourite beach ☀️🌊

We headed to Formby today and honestly it never disappoints. This beach feels nothing like the UK 👀

I love it there because you get the best of everything… huge sand dunes, such a long stretch of beach with the softest sand and beautiful forest walks too 🌿

If you’re lucky you might even spot the red squirrels 🐿️

It’s also dog friendly which makes it even better for a family day out 🐶

A few helpful things to know if you visit:
☀️ National Trust members park for free
☀️ If not, parking was £9 for the day when we went
☀️ I’d definitely recommend arriving early on warm days because it gets really busy getting onto the beach after lunchtime
☀️ There’s usually an ice cream van and refreshment van near the main car park off Lifeboat Road
☀️ Toilets are a little further away near the forest area

Days like this are such a good reminder that sometimes you don’t need to go far to properly switch off and make memories together 💛
