Earlier this month, Instructor Assessor Craig Watt visited our client’s wind farm to conduct Offshore Marine Stage 3 Assessments.

A huge congratulations to Joseph and Marcos, who began their journey at the Sparrows Training Centre with the Offshore Crane Operator Combined Stage 1 & 2 course. After building their experience offshore, they have now successfully passed their Stage 3 assessment! 👏🎉

Who is this course for ❓
The course is for personnel wishing to become competent in the Banksman & Slinger role. It is suited to those without previous experience looking for an entry role.

What is the duration of this course❓
3 days

What certificate is received on completion of this course❓
An OPITO accredited Banksman & Slinger Initial Training certificate is awarded on successful completion of this course.
Learners will then receive their logbook to carry out workplace experience under supervision. Once the logbook and supporting evidence is completed they can progress to the Competence Assessment.

The lads are in the final week of Movember UK

When they’re not training, Kenny and Brian have been focusing all their energy on growing their impressive facial hair 🥸
