We want to see all that you get up to whilst volunteering with TMR. Whether that is having fun with new friends, getting up close to amazing wildlife or exploring the country at weekends! 🌍 🤳

The 2025 season is off to a great start in Greece! 🇬🇷🐢

Our first group of volunteers have already been busy with tagging shifts, beach cleanups, beach profile surveys and more! 📈

Over the past couple of weeks, our beach cleanup shifts have accumulated a total of 10.25 hours spent removing marine debris from our nesting beaches, and 3 hours cleaning up debris around Koutavos Lagoon. This is crucial in cleaning the beaches of debris that have washed ashore over the winter, it also helps keep the beaches clean before nesting season begins, reducing the chances of disturbing any nesting females.

Outside of volunteering some volunteers have been sailing around the island, others have visited the breathtaking Melissani Cave, and a few even went horseback riding in Sami! 🏖️

Thailand + dogs + beaches = the perfect volunteer trip! 🇹🇭🐶

What better way to spend your summer than caring for dogs on some of Thailand's most beautiful beaches? This is a great opportunity to give back to a worthy cause whilst visiting one of the most popular destination on the backpacker route! 🌴

At the moment there are estimated to be around 8.5 million street dogs currently wandering the streets of Thailand in need of medical care, food and a loving home. As a street dog volunteer you will play a vital role in caring for hundreds of dogs in the local area, working alongside a dedicated local team that is working to provide long term solutions to help reduce the amount of dogs living on the streets in the future.

Outside of volunteering there is plenty of time to explore local Thai culture, with the opportunity to join a guided Buddhist meditation with a local monk, try your hand at a traditional Thai cooking class, visit national parks and temples or just relax on the beach ☀️

As a diving volunteer in South Africa you will spend your days in the water, collecting data which plays a vital part in marine conservation all around the world. Outside of volunteering you can enjoy weekly excursions including beach days, sundowners, braais, sand boarding and more all in the laid back beach town of Sodwana Bay 🌴 🌊
