Asante sana Kenya, it's been a summer to remember 🇰🇪✨

We've had an incredible summer in Nairobi, combining meaningful volunteering with incredible experiences and new friendships 💚

From supporting schools and kindergartens to helping in hospitals, every day offered an opportunity to connect with local communities and make a positive impact 🏫🩺

Beyond volunteering, the summer was filled with adventure — going on safari, discovering Kenya’s amazing national parks, exploring the vibrant city of Nairobi, experiencing the local culture and meeting people from all over the world.🐘🌍

There's a new wildlife programme in Zimbabwe on the list...and it's a special one! 🐒🇿🇼

Introducing our new wildlife sanctuary, where baboons, pangolins, giraffe and more roam free, whilst they receive rehabilitation, round the clock care and preparation for release. Based just outside Bulawayo, it's also the perfect base to explore Matopos Hills, rhino tracking and Victoria Falls on your days off.

Think early starts, muddy boots, and bush walks with babies learning to be wild again 🐾

"What an adventure to push through together! Through rainforests, moorlands, alpine deserts and the arctic peak, we made it to the top of the highest freestanding mountain in the world!" ⛰️ 🇹🇿

Last week, TMR team member James and his amazing group reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro – a challenge that demanded resilience, determination and plenty of teamwork along the way.
