✨🚁 Wanderlust Wednesday – Franz Josef Glacier 🇳🇿❄️✨

If there's one experience in New Zealand that I would recommend to everyone, it's taking a helicopter flight up to Franz Josef Glacier 💙

The flight alone is incredible, with sweeping views of rugged mountains, glaciers, rainforest and coastline all in one journey. But nothing quite prepares you for the moment you land on the snow and step out into the fresh mountain air 🏔️❄️

My biggest tip? Go early!

The first flights of the morning are truly something special. Watching the sun rise over the Southern Alps as the glacier begins to glow is a memory I'll treasure forever. And if you're among the first to land, you'll often be greeted by a blanket of fresh, untouched snow – a magical sight that makes you feel like you've discovered a hidden corner of the world ✨

It's one of those moments where you simply stop, take it all in and think, "Wow, this planet is amazing."

Definitely a bucket-list experience that lives up to the hype 🌎💙

I've been lucky enough to witness some amazing ocean moments during my travels – whether it's watching dolphins from a cruise ship, snorkelling among colourful marine life, or simply sitting by the sea listening to the waves.

Our oceans give us so much, so today is a great reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting them for future generations. 🌎🐢🐋

✨🌍 Wanderlust Wednesday 🌍✨

I recently did the famous TranzAlpine train journey from Christchurch… and wow, it honestly blew me away! 🇳🇿🚞

I can completely see why it’s considered one of the most scenic train journeys in the world 😍

The views were just incredible from start to finish — travelling through the Canterbury Plains, alongside winding rivers and up into the dramatic Southern Alps ⛰️

One of my favourite things was the huge panoramic windows throughout the train, plus the open-air viewing carriage where you could stand outside, feel the fresh mountain air and take in the scenery properly 🌬️📸

It’s one of those experiences where you spend the whole journey looking out the window saying “wow” every five minutes 😂

If New Zealand is on your bucket list, then honestly… this train ride needs to be on there too ✔️
