Calling all Bicester-based artists!

Cherwell District Council is inviting local creatives to be part of a bold new chapter for our town centre. Three large-scale murals are planned for the area between Sheep Street and Pioneer Square - and they want to hear your ideas.

This project is a celebration of Bicester’s garden town spirit, our shared identity, and the local stories that shape our community.

It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, visible legacy of creativity in the heart of Bicester.

🗓 Submit your proposal by Friday 1 August and help bring colour, culture, and community pride to our public spaces.

Let’s shape the future of Bicester together - one mural at a time.

Upcoming event in Bicester!

Nais House do incredible work supporting the community with mental health and to raise funds to continue their much needed, and very valuable work they are holding their Festival 2025.

📆 When? Saturday 5th July from 1pm-10pm
📌 Where? Pingle Field, Bicester
🎟️ Tickets? Free, just turn up on the day

There will be live music, local business stalls, food vendors and licensed bar aswell as Mind, Body and Soul workshops through out the day.

Partner Event Spotlight: BRITA Charity Open Golf Day ⛳

BRITA, is hosting their annual Charity Open Golf Day on Sunday 14th September at Kirtlington Golf Club, Oxfordshire (OX5 3JY).

Since 2011, this fantastic event has raised over £21,000 for a range of charities – and this year, they’re aiming even higher!

💷 £50 per player – includes 18 holes and breakfast

Calling all local business owners.

The Cooper School in Bicester are looking for local businesses to attend their Careers Fair
The aim is to inspire their students and give them as much information, as possible, about potential careers and opportunities that are out there.

There are 3 ways to get involved:
1. Being part of the Careers Fair in a large hall
2. Delivering a small 20-30 minutes session to a group of students, which may include a hands on demonstration
3. Being part of an evening session, which we will open up to parents in the style of a careers fair
