Bank Holiday vibes are here… and so is the countdown to Saltaire Festival
This year we’re going bigger than ever- more events, more live bands, more drinks & global food treats, more stalls and surprises as we celebrate Bradford City of Culture year.
🎭 Events
For little ones through to grown-ups: dance, theatre, photography, art exhibitions, poetry, Talks: AA Dhand, Ch Bradman; writing workshops, comedy, roving walk, and so much more across the park and village. Kids’ highlights include craft workshops: Bradford25, Mini Makers, Explore Learning, Shipley Glen Tramway- children activities, BDC Mind art & craft, Groovers in the Art, Yorkshire Sharks Dragon Boat Experience (all), Pinnacle Performance, plus dance groups: Ockerby/ Holmes Academies, Dance Bizarre, Dolly Birds Burlesque; Costume Characters, Face Painting, Funfair and many more…
🎶 Live Music
• Opening week: brand new Piano Village: pop-up concerts all around Saltaire
• 13–14 Sept: Bandstand & YardFest light up the first weekend
• Second weekend (20-21 Sept): Main Stage & the Bandstand in Roberts Park plus Golden Stage in the village centre bring the festival sound, alongside beloved street food vans and our huge continental market (starts Fri 19th Sept)

🛍 Markets & Stalls
Craft & art stalls both weekends at Roberts Park. Plus from Fri 19– Sun 21 Sept the streets of Saltaire transform with a massive continental market

Open Gardens, exhibitions to explore and shop, events at Victoria Hall & Salts Mill, both Churches, College events, YardFest street party, Fire Performance, Costume characters and plenty of surprises still to come…
