Even in the drizzle the verdant green of the valleys highways and byways lifts the spirits! The valley .hewendenmillcottages.co.uk/availability-prices/ feels joyous at this time of year as spring gets into full swing. On a recent stroll at St Ives park, Bingley we noticed our first Blue Bell in flower this year. This always makes me look forward to the coming spectacle of the blue mist they create in our grounds and the dramatic sheets carpeting the woodland floor at St. Ives Country Park and Mouse woods 5 minutes away.
There are also fantastic displays around Shipley Glen, a short walk from Saltaire, Middleton Woods near Ilkley and Hardcastle Crags near Hebden Bridge. Further afield, but easily accessible from Hewenden, in the Yorkshire Dales, are Grass Woods, near Grassington, and Oxenber and Wharf Woods near Austwick and Feizor.

We've always had a great team at www.hewendenmillcottages.co.uk . Couldn't have been a better day to welcome back an old friend and colleague who played an essential role in shaping the idyllic valley we all enjoy. He also reminded us that spring was getting started. There are still snow drops but the first of the daffs are showing their faces! Thanks to everyone that contributes and loves the valley as we do
