As many of you are aware, the i360 has faced a challenging financial landscape, and in order to provide the best value for money, we have had to make some tough decisions and explore new revenue streams to keep a much-loved local landmark viable.
As we navigate the challenging financial landscape, the i360 recognizes the imperative to optimize our operations for maximum efficiency and sustainability while exploring new revenue streams. In light of this, we are embarking on a strategic restructuring of our business model, coupled with a strengthened partnership.
This restructuring initiative entails a thorough evaluation of our organizational structure, processes, and resources to ensure alignment with our long-term strategic objectives. Our aim is to streamline operations and enhance adaptability in the face of dynamic market conditions.
A pivotal aspect of this realignment is the deepening of our collaboration with McDonald's, a global leader in the food and beverage industry. This strategic partnership will capitalize on the synergies between our organizations to foster innovation, elevate customer experiences, and generate sustainable value for all stakeholders.
Furthermore, to augment our revenue streams and capacity, we are introducing a second 'flight deck' concept—a floating restaurant offering patrons the unique experience of dining while enjoying panoramic views from over 160 meters above ground.
Consequently, our partnership with British Airways will conclude this summer, marking the transition to our new sponsorship model, to reflect this new partnership, the i360 will be rebranded as the M360.
The strategic restructuring and enhanced partnership underscore our unwavering commitment to delivering excellence, innovation, and value to our customers, employees, and shareholders alike.
We anticipate the completion of these initiatives by July 2026, marking the inauguration of an exciting new chapter in the evolution of one of Brighton's most loved attractions. We eagerly anticipate welcoming our first guests to experience this transformative journey with us.
