✨ Looking for the perfect break with your teen? ✨

It can be harder than you think to find somewhere that keeps teenagers entertained… but I think I’ve found a winner! 👌

I recently took my daughter to Málaga for an overnight stay and we absolutely loved it. 🇪🇸☀️

We were there during the Feria de Málaga, so there was music around every corner, women in beautiful flamenco dresses and people dancing in the streets. It was so lovely seeing families coming together to celebrate. 🥳💃

🏨 WHERE WE STAYED

We stayed at Barceló Málaga, and one of my favourite things was how easy it was to get there.

We hopped on the train straight from the airport and were at the hotel in around 10 minutes! 🚆

The hotel is actually attached to the train station and a large shopping centre too - very handy for those all-important late-night snacks! 😂

🌴 OUR HIGHLIGHTS

📍 Muelle Uno before sunset

We grabbed a table at Hard Rock with the perfect view. And honestly, such good value - a couple of glasses of wine, unlimited soft drink refills and food for around £35.

Afterwards, we had a wander around the shopping stalls… and I even got roped into doing a TikTok in the street! 🙈🤣

🛍️ Shopping at Plaza Mayor & McArthurGlen Designer Outlet

Again, so easy from the hotel - just hop on the train and you're outside the shopping outlets within a few stops.

And yes, all the teenage favourites are there… Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius & Pull&Bear - with some prices cheaper than in the UK. 🙌

I'd definitely recommend Barceló Málaga. It's clean, modern and has a great breakfast - plus there's even a slide down to the bar! 😂🍸

Just a flying overnight stay to visit a hotel, experience Feria de Malaga - a massive week-long summer street festival and, of course, shop till we drop! 💃🏼🛍️✨

And then… the dreaded adapter situation! 😂
Anyone else kick themselves when they have to buy an overpriced adapter at the airport when there are about a gazillion sitting at home?! The adapter pain is SO real!! 😩
