Your machine is ready. The installation is booked. Then you realise a standard trailer isn’t going to work…
For one European machinery movement, the finished build’s height and weight meant a standard tautliner wasn’t suitable.
The answer? A low-loader, but finding the right vehicle was only part of the job.
🏗️ A crane was booked to load at the UK factory
🚛 The low-loader needed to arrive within the agreed loading window
🏗️ A second crane was waiting to offload at destination
🔧 Engineers had an installation schedule to keep
Vehicle choice, payload, height, lifting arrangements and timings all had to work together.
It’s a good example of why moving production machinery isn’t always as simple as booking a full load, and why we look at the detail before a vehicle is sent to site.
