We had so much fun today. It was our last public Grand tour for a little while (private tours available all year round). As it fell on 31st October we added in a few of the ghostly stories we’ve heard about the places we already visit. Buxton, surprisingly, has less stories of hauntings than you might imagine. Mid way we stopped for a special Halloween chocolate from Hot Chocolaterie
Our guests absolutely loved their Vampire Kisses and Creme Boo-lees (highly recommended). Thanks too to Clive from St John’s for showing us inside (we did leave our witches hats at the door) and to C.R Clowes And Son for having us. Karey and her friend popped back later for a gorgeous gift that was beautifully gift wrapped.

Buxton, a calm announcement 🎃

Many of you have told us you’ve been meaning to come on a tour. We have been meaning to let you.

Saturday is our last tour of the season, at 11am from St Ann’s Well. Yes, it is Halloween. No, it is still not a Halloween tour. A spooky tale may slip out, purely by accident.

You’ll get water from the well, some history, and possibly a biscuit. It’s a small group, we’re friendly, and nobody gets left at the back.

The weather looks dry. We asked specially.
