I visited Croatia last week for 2 days, I stayed in the lovely town of Cavtat with a waterfront promenade. I spent a wonderful day also exploring Dubrovnik, the old city was absolutely stunning with its medieval walls, limestone‑paved Stradun, Onofrio’s Fountain and Rector’s Palace, there was great selection of konobas up the steps from the Stradun to enjoy an evening meal. It really was a wonderful mini trip.

Just spent an unforgettable week exploring some of the most beautiful corners of Europe. Landed in Pisa and made my way to Cinque Terre, wandering through Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso, each village offering its own unique charm along the Ligurian coast of Italy. Continued on to the elegance of Portofino and the historic streets of Genoa, both also in Liguria. Sailing to the south of France for a taste of Marseille, then returned to northern Italy to soak in the energy of Milan and the peaceful beauty of Lake Como, both in the Lombardy region. Every stop brought its own kind of magic.

On Friday, a fire at an electrical substation caused major disruption at Heathrow Airport, with flights grounded and terminals brought to a standstill. For most travellers, it was chaos—cancelled flights, endless queues, and the stress of trying to rebook plans on their own.
