Did you know?

🎂From 1st September 1976 until 31st August 1977 means all babies born then (like me)are turning 50 …. And is this time the below happened

🚀 Apple was founded, VHS was invented and Voyager 2 was launched into space.

🎬 Star Wars hit the cinema, Rumours was released and punk rock took over Britain.

🎤 Elvis Presley died. 16 Aug 1977

🌍 Mao Zedong died, Jimmy Carter became President and New York had its infamous blackout.

❄️ It even snowed in Miami!

🌞and I’ve lost count of how many times my mam n dad remind me of the summer of ‘76 heat wave (while pregnant with me)

🥂Happy turning 50 to all those born In that era, especially to my friend Susan who kick starts the celebrations on Friday this week

🌴Lots of special times planned and holidays to be had 🇲🇺🇬🇷 (to be fair already starting to milk it)
A few weeks yet till my turn, so for now I can still say “in my 40’s “😜
