🚸 School run update Route TO707 - Kirkbampton / Great Orton to Caldew School Dalston

Road closures from Monday 2nd June for two days until Wednesday 4th June 🚧 2025
⛔️

From A689 West Bypass - Moorhouse Road on the B5307 closure from 7:00 am until 21:00 and also between Moorhouse and Bow towards Great Orton on the same dates.

We won’t be able to collect any children from Moorhouse or from Bow (Cumbria Wildflowers)

The coach will travel to Kirkbampton via Watchtree Nature Reserve and collect Kirkbampton as usual, if Thurstonfield Children could meet there please.

(Moorhouse children will have to travel via car to meet coach there or in Great Orton)

After Kirkbampton collection the coach will travel via Watchtree into Great Orton turning safely at the Village Hall then as normal to Caldew.
⚠️ (CAUTION please keep clear of coach whilst it’s turning) ⚠️

The pm route will have to do the same in reverse order.
We will update Cumberland Council tomorrow where we hope they will have more information and also contact Caldew School 🚸 after making this decision after a route check this evening!

We apologise for the inconvenience, situations like this are out of control!
