Hi, I'm Sarah and this is my son, Alfie - your Junior Hotel Inspector! 👋 and we want to share our experience of our family holiday to Majorca, and why we loved every second... ✈️

We stayed at the Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark in Magaluf, and I cannot tell you how much we loved it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so clean, organised, staff were friendly, and genuinely family‑friendly.
This just set the tone for the whole holiday 🙌

We had a one‑bedroom apartment, which was ideal for us. Loads of space, comfy, and perfect for relaxing after long days in the sun 🌞

And speaking of long days in the sun… let me tell you about the water fun! 💦 This hotel has its own on‑site waterpark!! Plus, four large pools AND a splash park for the little ones, so there’s something for every age. Alfie LOVED the amount of waterslides! We had zero "I'm bored!" comments here!!!🤣

They even have a football court, which was a massive hit for Alfie ⚽

Food-wise, it’s all inclusive, which made life so easy. There’s one main restaurant, and then two snack vans (Alfie's FAVE) serving hot dogs, pizza, and burgers 🍔 And yes… they have branded soft drinks, which is always a win!

The hotel is in a brilliant spot. Everything is close by, and we loved how easy it was to get around 🤩

We walked to Son Matias Beach in Palma Nova, which took around 10–15 minutes. Totally worth it! Gorgeous sand, clear water, and a lovely family vibe 🐚

Majorca completely stole our hearts 🥰 The combination of sunshine, family‑friendly fun, great food, and that incredible hotel made it one of our best holidays ever!

Part 2: Glass Bridges, 999 Steps & Facing Fears 😍🔥

If Part 1 was incredible… Part 2 took things to another level.

We started with a peaceful cruise across Lake Baofeng before heading up Tianmen Mountain, home of the famous Heaven’s Gate and the legendary 999 Steps. With clouds surrounding the mountains, it honestly felt like we were walking above the world.

I decided to tackle all 999 steps… and although the views were hidden behind the mist, the experience itself was unforgettable.

Then came the moment that pushed me completely out of my comfort zone the Glass Bridge and the zipline. As someone who is terrified of heights, I was convinced I wouldn’t do it… but I did and it ended up being one of the BEST experiences of the entire trip. The views flying across the canyon were absolutely breathtaking.

We also explored the stunning Huanglong Cave with glowing rock formations, underground boat rides, and incredible projections lighting up the cave walls.

To finish the trip, we visited Furong Ancient Town at night, and this place was pure magic. Waterfalls, lanterns, traditional buildings all glowing in the dark… the perfect ending to an unforgettable adventure through China.

This trip challenged me, amazed me, and gave me memories I’ll never forget 🇨🇳❤️
