Travel season is in full swing, and we are loving every update coming through from those of you currently away. There really is nothing quite like opening an email to find a note from someone having the time of their life on safari.

Between plotting out itineraries, we will readily admit to keeping a waterhole live cam running on a spare monitor to get our daily fix. It definitely beats looking out the window on a grey afternoon, though it does make us rather envious of those watching the wildlife in person.

A few favourites from our team to brighten your feed today: buffalo gathering at the water, desert-adapted elephants, and that unmistakable Namibian evening sky.

The Serengeti holds a certain magic, and sometimes, if you're lucky, that magic looks you right in the eye. Just ask our recent guest, Bonnie, who captured this breathtaking shot of a magnificent male lion during her trip to Tanzania. What a moment!
