Thank you so much to the volunteers who came out this Bank Holiday morning to help Phil hang the baskets. We were lucky and it didn't rain and nobody fell off a ladder.
The baskets already look really good and will be amazing in a couple of weeks. Thank as always to Brookfield Garden Services for all their hard work.

Hatherell's Yard all planted up ready for the summer we hope we're going to get. Lots of hard work but well worth it.

Thanks to the generosity of Chipping Sodbury Yacht Club and the hard work of Sodbury in Bloom the boat is looking really good. It's decked out in bunting and the planting is red, white and blue to help celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
Thanks to the Yacht Club it's also standing on lovely new gravel.

Thanks very much to Doynton Flower Group for donating plants for us to sell and thanks to South Glos Council for letting us have a stall on which to sell them in the Council offices. Pat had a great time on the stall.

The Primrose bank in the Riverside Park needs the brambles cutting back so the primroses can come through. We thought it had been done by the Council but it appears not. Please come along on Saturday 22nd February at 10am if you are able to help clear the bank. You will need thick gloves and secateurs.

Next Sunday, 16th February, we shall be doing some work on a young hedge on the corner of the Wickwar road and St John's Way. We planted the hedge there a few years ago with help from South Glos Council and it's badly in need of rescuing before it is is completely overgrown.

We would welcome some help so why not come along and work off that Sunday lunch. Meet at the corner at1.30pm. You will need stout shoes, thick gloves and secateurs and loppers.

Hope to see some of you there.
