Once upon a time there was a delightful little cottage, that nestled in the heart of a lovely village called Port Navas, in Cornwall. Beautifully decorated and furnished, the cottage was admired by all. Oh how the cottage enjoyed being next to the Helford river. It looked out every day upon the little slipway, just yards from its front door, to the yachts and boats bobbing up and down in the creek
beyond. On summers evenings it would twinkle its lights upon the waters, welcoming its guests home after they had enjoyed a meal and a drink from the local yacht club bar, or the nearby Trengilly Wartha pub. In colder months it would snuggle up with its guests, with the glow of its woodburner casting shadows of flickering flames upon the walls, whilst the Aga would cook delicious hot, hearty meals to nourish both the body & soul of the people within. It loved where it lived and the quiet village waterside life it enjoyed. Sometimes, when the air is still and the phosphorescence is twinkling on the calm waters of the creek, it is said that you can actually hear the cottage whisper...“Come and visit me...shhh..stay a while... I have wifi and a smart telly too.”
Magical.
