What’s the best thing to do when there’s a storm raging outside..? Gather some lovely friends in Stockham’s farmhouse kitchen and create wire/resin horses!
Under the kind and expert tutelage of sculptor Melanie Deegan Sculpture whose workshops can usually be found in her studio in Watchet.
Comment below if you think you’d like to give this a go. Perhaps bring your horse on holiday to Stockham and create a sculpture of him/her to take home?
So much fun and such fab results, including a version of Ali’s dapple grey Buttons (with very poor conformation 🤣)

Lovely busy weekend at Stockham Farm - visiting nearby Weston Farm for pumpkin patch fun 🎃 and wild flower picking 💐 (highly recommend!), reroofing our horse engine house barn and enjoying some lovely guest reviews. Horace was exhausted!

Three Wilburs in a row… 🦮🐷🐶
L to R: Handsome Piggery cottage guest Labrador Wilbur; The Piggery’s stone pig Wilbur (named after the pig in “Charlotte’s Web” 🕷️🕸️); and Stockham’s own superstar Jack Russell Wilbur.
Any suggestions for a collective noun for Wilburs? 🤔
