This is a must see when visiting Dulverton, and it’s a picturesque 45min drive across the moor!

Valley of the Rocks & Lynton & Lynmouth Day Out Idea (North Devon) 🚗 🌊

This is a great day out from Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, or even Exeter, combining dramatic coastal scenery, charming villages, and a historic cliff railway in North Devon.

📍 Stop 1: Valley of the Rocks – Start your day at this stunning coastal valley, famous for its rock formations, wild goats, and breathtaking sea views. Park here and enjoy the coastal walk to Lynton & Lynmouth. 🏞️🐐

📍 Stop 2: Lynmouth – A picturesque harbour village with quaint shops and riverside walks.🌊☕

📍 Stop 3: Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway – Take a ride on this historic water-powered funicular, connecting Lynmouth (seaside) with Lynton (clifftop village). Enjoy spectacular views as you ascend! 🚞✨

📍 Stop 4: Lynton – Wander around this charming hilltop village. 🏡🎨

📍 Back to the car – Walk back to Valley of the Rocks.🚶‍♂️🌅
